Yhivi Interview

Captain Jack Interviews Yhivi

Yhivi (pronounced E.V.) has been in the industry for about a year now. She has girl next door good looks and she’s also a Spiegler Girl so you know that she has skills! I recently had a chance to talk to the sexy brunette about all things porn!

Yhivi

Captain Jack: Tell me about Yhivi.

Yhivi: I like to read a lot. I talk about it pretty openly on my social media, I’m into sustainable living. That’s my goal. I’m saving up to buy land with a few other people. I really like cooking a lot. I have 4 instruments, I can kind of bullshit banjo, guitar and accordion. I can’t play the violin very well… there’s no possible way to bullshit violin! (laughs) Hopefully one day I’ll learn it. I bought the violin instead of a cello. I like the cello a lot more but the cello is huge! So I settled on a violin. They are a little bit different, in tone definitely. I like cozy things. My room is cozy. (laughs)

CJ: How old are you?

Yhivi: I’m 21.

CJ: How long have you been in the industry?

Yhivi: I’ve been shooting for about a year now.

CJ: When did you lose your virginity?

Yhivi: I was 13. I don’t like giving people ammunition for reinforcing stereotypes about porn people or like ammunition to say, ‘See? That’s why she’s in porn! Because she had sex when she was young!’

CJ: Were you with girls before porn too?

Yhivi: No, I wasn’t. It’s funny you mention it because I was always very attracted to girls. I was attracted to females before I was attracted to men. I didn’t really acknowledge it or process it. I went as far as fantasizing about it. When I fantasized about people when I was younger, I’d be focusing on the woman but there was a guy in it. Or when I watched porn, I would watch the girls. It didn’t really hit me until after I had sex with guys. I like guys too but liking girls came first.

Yhivi

CJ: How did you decide to get into the adult industry?

  1. Yhivi: I started with camming which I think is a part of it. I started camming because I had a friend who wholds followed a blog of sone body whow cammed. I didn’t necessarily make a mental note to try it then. One night, I decided to see what it was all about. It seemed pretty easy. It was on a site I’d rat her not na me nease I don’t want to give them free advertising and I don’t really support how they’ve been treating models lately. It’s a pretty soft intro. It’s more like a social network thing. You’re not on cam all the time and guys can talk to you and buy content and I don’t have to be naked. My first day, I made as much in two hours as I did in a week. I had worked at a grocery store at the time but it made more sense to cam, so I stuck to it. It made sense. There’s never been a point where it didn’t make sense to me.

CJ: How did you get hooked up with Spiegler?

Yhivi: I emailed him. I let him know that I researched the agents in the industry to see who was the most reliable and respectful. He came up a lot. There were a few bad articles but there’s bad articles on everybody. I told him about my experience with camming and how I had shot a couple of scenes without an agent. I told him I wanted him to represent me and what I was willing to do. I gave him my physical stats and goals within the industry. I sent him photos and he emailed me about 2 hours after. I was really surprised by that; I didn’t think he would get back to me so soon. He’s a super efficient guy I’ve learned. We talked on the phone a couple of times and I went to see him. He took me on some go-sees and a week after that, I was on the website.

CJ: How did you choose that stage name?

Yhivi: I made the name when I was camming. I wanted the name EV spelled normally which would be ‘Evey’ or ‘Evie’. That was taken on the site I was on and I didn’t want a bunch of numbers in it or a spelling that wouldn’t make sense, in othe was tHan bwing hard to pronounce. I wanted people to look up my name and know it’s me. When I started doing porn, I didn’t think about how hard it was to pronounce. There are pros to it because when you look up my name, I’m the only one who comes up. People remember me because my name is strange. People also criticize me for it sometimes too. (laughs)

Yhivi

CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around watching you.

Yhivi: My first scene was a solo scene but I did my first boy/girl scene the next day with a big company. It was a really good experience. I was definitely nervous. It was strange and I was trying to figure out how to perform best with all the cameras there. Sex on camera is obviously different than sex off camera. Before you get into the industry, you don’t grasp the meaning of that too much. You end up finding out you have to do it differently. Having sex in bed that feels best or the most comfortable way isn’t necessarily how you have sex on camera. You can’t look in certain directions and you have to learn the whole thing. It was a good experience because the director and the company made sure I was comfortable and they made sure I was ok with everything. I really enjoyed it. The next day, I had the boy/girl scene. That was also nerve wracking. I was scheduled to work with a guy but they rescheduled him the day before, which I was totally fine with. I didn’t look up the dude online until that morning and I was a lot more attracted to him. He was more attractive in an intimidating kind of way. So I got really nervous and you can tell I’m really nervous. He was also married and I knew it wasn’t a big deal but I was thinking to myself, ‘This is so weird! I never had sex with a married guy before!’ It was really interesting and I was taking it all in. A lot of my early scenes were like, ‘Wow! This is cool!’ I was definitely turned on during all of it. I have tendencies of an exhibitionist but, at the end of the day, I kind of like just being with the person I’m with and don’t need people to watch. It’s exciting. I think it’s more for the perspective of it being a taboo to most people.

CJ: What about your first girl/girl scene? You said you were attracted to them but you had never been with a woman before. How did that go?

Yhivi: My first scene with a woman was a BDSM scene. I think because I have a vagina as well, I kind of knew what to do. I definitely didn’t get it as good as I get it now. It was really fun. I was a lot more nervous for that than I was for the other two scenes combined just because it was a woman. But it was cool. I had a really good time. It was great. I love working with women. And men. And everything else. Toys. (laughs)

CJ: What’s your favorite position?

Yhivi: I don’t have a favorite. It changes with the people I’m with. It changes too much. (laughs) Generally, with penis sex, I like some variation where they’re fucking me from behind. But I’ve had really good sex being on top or in missionary too. It just depends.

Yhivi

CJ: Do you have any favorite scenes?

Yhivi: I really liked the gangbang I did. It was a very new, very fun experience. When I got into the industry, that’s what I wanted to do.

CJ: You’ve worked a lot for The Upper Floor and Kink. Are you naturally submissive?

Yhivi: Definitely. People are submissive in different ways. The Upper Floor is lifestyle domming. I’m not personally interested in that. I get why people are but I’m not a sub in that way. Nobody owns me, which is fine if people are into that. I love the times where I do that so I’m submissive in the sense where I’ll take a role with people.

CJ: A lot of the guys in porn are older. Does it ever bother you to work with older men?

Yhivi: No, never.

CJ: What’s the oldest guy you’ve been with off camera?

Yhivi: 29 or 30.

CJ: Besides webcamming, how often do you masturbate?

Yhivi: It varies greatly. Sometimes, I’ll just forget. (laughs) There will be a month where I masturbate 100 times and the next month, I’ll masturbate 4 times. Sometimes, I’ll be so preoccupied with something else! If there was a chart, it’d go up and down, up and down….

CJ: Favorite method?

Yhivi: Hitachi is the easiest and quickest. Before porn, I was very afraid of toys. I had a tiny, tiny vibrator that I liked so much. I have a very sensitive clitoris. My first 10 experiences with the Hitachi, I flipped out! Then I was camming and was using it and I was new to it on cam. I was nervous and new to it so I wasn’t cumming a lot when I cammed. I had to fake it sometimes but no one complained. Everyone seemed happy. (laughs) I had an accidental orgasm from it and it was cool! I was hooked after that!

CJ: When a guy pops, where do you prefer it?

Yhivi: Lately, in my butt. Or in my mouth. Usually, somewhere inside of me. I like seeing it too. I’m very fickle. (laughs)

CJ: You came right into the industry doing anal, is that something you enjoy in your personal life?

Yhivi: Yes, definitely. I love anal. I’ve actually been doing it less because I’m shooting it so much. I don’t want to overdo it physically. It’s work now. If someone’s home right after an anal scene, I’ll say ‘Let’s go for it!’ but if I have three anal scenes in a week, I don’t want to add another day of prepping. But, yes, I love it, it’s great.

CJ: Are you a size queen? Do you like huge cocks?

Yhivi: It doesn’t matter at all. I’ve never had sex with a penis smaller than 6” or 6 ½”. I’ve never had one smaller than that so I don’t know if I’d like it smaller or not but average and beyond is good for me.

Yhivi

CJ: What do you look for in a guy off camera?

Yhivi: I’m polyamorous. I’m not monogamous and don’t have plans to be exclusive with anybody sexually or emotionally. Anybody I’m with has to be ok with that and want that for themselves. So, saying that, I like somebody who has the same ideals as me, someone who respects me. There’s really no physical attributes that stand out to me. I definitely don’t want to be with somebody who’s not motivated themselves, who doesn’t have their own goals and isn’t dependent on me either. I’ve seen relationships like that and I don’t think they’re healthy.

CJ: You’re young, you’re good looking, do you find it hard to go out because some people might want to fuck you just because you’re a porn star. Do you have to find you have to qualify people to find out what their true intentions are?

Yhivi: I haven’t had that experience but I also don’t go out a lot. I grew up in Southern California so I know people around here and I don’t have to do that. A lot of people in this industry have to build their own base of people because they’re not from here. Also, I’m not much of a “go out and party”; I’m more of a “let’s stay in and have a dance party here.” I haven’t really had that experience luckily. Fortunately.

CJ: At the beginning, you mentioned cooking. What’s your specialty? What do you love to eat?

Yhivi: I’m really into cooking broth. Different nutritious and delicious broths. You can put so much into a broth that doesn’t take away from it. As for a meal, I really like making Grilled Cheese with Miso on it. It’s not a fancy meal. (laughs) Miso paste is salty and it’s super good. I’ve just been getting into fancier foods. A friend gave me a book called The Science and the Lore of the Kitchen. It’s food theory and you can look up why people cook what they do. You can look up starches or grains and stories behind different things that are relative to different culinary endeavors. It’s a really cool book. I’m getting deep into cooking lately.

CJ: What kind of music do you like?

Yhivi: I don’t have a favorite genre but a favorite kind is mellow and makes you want to cuddle with a pillow or read a book.

CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?

Yhivi: I really liked Memento.

CJ: What does the future hold? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Yhivi: I can definitely see myself doing this in part. I think it’s a great industry to be in for me personally for the financial and creative freedom I have. I can’t go on set and change things up but there is wiggle room in some scenes. At the same time, I have some other goals like in relation to property and living that lifestyle. But I do believe I can do both. If it works, it works and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I enjoy the industry and I think it works for me.

CJ: Any upcoming scenes that your fans can look forward to?

Yhivi: I have a couple of scenes coming out for Evil Angel. And I filmed for a new company which will be called Emerald Triangle Girls. It’s like a weed girl website. I finally has the chance to work with AJ Applegate and Luna Star. They’re both with Mark too. We did anal and ate a bunch of sweets on camera. It was really fun to shoot.

CJ: And how can the fans get ahold of you?

Yhivi: On Twitter, I’m @Yhivi. www.yhivi.tumblr.com and I have the domain name www.yhivi.com which I’m planning on putting up a webstore real soon.
