Lumi Ray: I grew up in Humboldt County, California which is in the Emarald Triangle. It’s where a lot of marijuana is grown in the Northern, coastal part of California. I’m 24. My birthday is June 23 so I’m a cancer. I was a chef for 7 years before this.

Lumi: Not that I can think of right now. I love Seinfeld just because it’s a cultured show. I like Stranger Things too. I like sci fi.

CJ: When you were a chef, what cuisine was your specialty?

Lumi: I’ve done a wide variety! I’ve done French, Farm to Table, I worked under a chef that was from the Middle East for a little bit. There’s been times that I’ve worked at 2 to 3 restaurants at once just so I could expand my knowledge and recipes and kitchens just because every one is different. It’s a world where you’ll never be bored. You’ll be exhausted but never bored.

CJ: What’s your favorite food to eat?

Lumi: I love eating Southeast Asian so like Thai food.
