Mannie Coco Talks with Captain Jack
Mannie is a top male talent and was nominated for Best Male Newcomer. He is based in Europe and is making quite a name for himself with the Vixen Media Group. He was fun to talk to and get to know this new talent!
Captain Jack: How did you get your start in porn?
Mannie Coco: My first ever scene was for Blacked. I used to be a male entertainer. I lived in Australia, doing a few shows. I started an OnlyFans and filmed some content over there. I got a few messages on Twitter from Blacked USA. They hit me up about coming to Las Vegas for a trial but I couldn’t do it. Julia Grandi said that if I could get to Europe, they’d give me a shot. To be honest, I was skeptical when I first got the message. I thought this person just wanted to get pictures of me. I told them that I would love to worked for Blacked one day when I got more established. It’s definitely a goal in the future just to be polite. About a year later, I did my first scene.
CJ: You said you were a male entertainer so you were a male stripper?
Mannie: Yes.
CJ: Did you have any other jobs before that?
Mannie: I worked in a Levi’s in sales. Still to this day, I wear Levi’s just to remind me to stay humble. I feel fortunate that we can make the average salary in a few days but when some people in the industry are making millions, you can sometimes lose perspective and think you’re not doing so well. I’m also going for my Bachelor’s.
CJ: Your first time on set, even though you entertained in front of people, how was it when you actually had to fuck with people watching you?
Mannie: I was pretty lucky that my first scene was with Troy Francisco and Nala Gold. I just did my thing. It was good.
CJ: How is having sex on-set different than having sex in your personal life?
Mannie: Opening up to the camera isn’t a priority. There was a period of time in my personal life where I was trying to do stripper tricks but that’s unnecessary. I wanted to give girls the porn star experience. I used to do a standing 69 and I think the blood rushed to my head and I had a nose bleed. (laughs) I think what separates me now, some porn is very male pleasure focused but, for me, I need to go down on a woman to get myself in the mood. Some performers ask to get fluffed and ask the girl to give them head, I’d rather go down on the girl personally and get there myself there. Or even kissing! I like to kiss the girl just to get that connection. And then learning how to position yourself for the camera so make sure I’m positioned right so the female’s face is still facing the camera.
CJ: What’s the toughest part about doing porn for a guy?
Mannie: The cardio I guess. (laughs) I think staying in your headspace. We’re acting and you’re the man for that moment, you’re the man for that scene but when you finish that scene, you go back to being Mannie. You have to stay humble. Some people fuck at home like they do on-camera and it goes to their head.
CJ: I know how working the 9 to 5 is and some days you just don’t feel like being there. Have you ever felt that way in the industry considering you get a new hottie to bang every day?
Mannie: Anytime that my call time is before 12 o’clock, I’m struggling! (laughs) I have a lot of respect for women because they have to get there early and get their make up done and take their pictures. That’s the reason all my jobs allow me to wake up late. I used to do personal training before I worked at Levi’s. And some clients wanted me there at 5am! I just threw away clients. (laughs)
CJ: Do you have any special projects in the works that the fans should look out for?
Mannie: I’m thinking about doing a tag team series where me and another male performer will have wrestling vibes but then there will be a female for a boy/boy/girl series. Personal life, I’m going to be doing sky diving. I want to get my sky diving license. Europe is one of the best places to do it so I’m going to be in the South of Spain, two weeks to a month. 25 jumps. You only do 2 jumps with an instructor and then you’re on your own. It’s kind of do or die!
