Cindy Crawford Talks with Captain Jack

Cindy was one of my favorite pornstars in the first decade of this century. When I saw that she was returning to the industry, I tracked her down and we were talking 24 hours later. I have to say when you finally talk to someone you really liked from afar, it generally is a disappointment but Cindy was everything I had hoped for and more! We had a wide-ranging chat touching on everything from the MeToo movement to Faces of Death! (For younger readers, look up that title.) It was a fun talk then we texted for a little bit afterward as well. I can’t wait to see Cindy get back into action!

Captain Jack: How long have you been gone now?

Cindy Crawford: The last movie I did was exactly 12 years ago.

CJ: Why are you coming back?

Cindy: During that whole 12-year period, I wanted to come back as a new character and I was going to call myself Raven because my hair is naturally black. I just wasn’t mentally ready. I was doing stupid shit, just fucking around and I wasn’t mentally ready to take it seriously. I guess you have to grow up a bit to actually grow up a bit. I hope I didn’t wait too long!

CJ: Did you have any jobs in the last 12 years? What did you do besides fucking around?

Cindy: Literally fucking around. I was a high-priced escort in Vegas.

CJ: Why did you leave originally?

Cindy: What happened to me was that I was in a decline of alcohol and it just kept getting worse and worse and worse. I started drinking on set and I was a mess. I made a public apology and AVN published it. And, after that, I fucked up again! That’s why no one hired me. I was like, ‘Oh shit!’ And then I wasn’t getting any work and they told me I had too many tattoos so I was sitting at home eating a cup of noodles with a bottle of ranch. (laughs) Then Jim Lane calls me and says, ‘Oh, by the way, you won an AVN award this year!’ ‘Oh, great! That’s just great!’ And I haven’t done a movie since!

CJ: Now you’re clean and sober and everything’s good?

Cindy: I’m too old to play around. I’m ready to take it through.

CJ: What did you miss most about the industry?

Cindy: The attention. That and the people and the fans. That’s what I missed the most.

CJ: Is it going to be tough competing with a new generation of porn girls?

Cindy: Competition, from what I’ve heard, is very fierce. However, I consider myself to be somewhat of a name. If you google me, millions of pictures will come up but if you google some chick named Cherie Butt, she’s fly by night, she’s in-and-out. She does a couple of scenes, she does a couple of movies, some other stuff, a couple of years, bing bang boom, in and out. I’m a contract girl, I’m an award winner, I have a famous name!

CJ: Are you going to be the same slutty anal performer that you were two years ago?

Cindy: My very first scene back was a 7-guy gangbang and I said the amount of guys. They asked me what I wanted to do, I said, ‘Let’s do a gangbang!’ They asked me if I wanted two or 3 guys, I said ‘Seven!’ So that’s what I did. So I was sitting in the makeup chair and I was kind of nervous. I haven’t done anal in forever! Back in the day, when you did a gangbang, they tore you apart! They were fucking your ear and slapping you…it was horrible! The makeup artist said, ‘No, it’s really professional now. They’re going to be really nice to you!’ I said, ‘No way!’

CJ: Who was it for?

Cindy: It was for Jim Lane and Dogfart.

CJ: Why did you originally get back into porn in 2002?

Cindy: Because my best friend at the time, her husband had just killed himself because of me. And I temped her with a stripper. She fell in love with a male stripper. She wouldn’t let me come near the house so I said, ‘Fuck you guys, I’m going to California!’ I was on the freeway in my brand new car. I was racing a car and this guy blew me away. He played with me and my car by zooming in and out. I finally signaled to pull over. He got out and told me he was a porn person. He told me to get in the car and he’d fuck me. I followed him home and I’m on the phone with my sister giving a description of the car and license plate in case he killed me. Followed him home, slept there that night. Took me to Sin City and two days later I filmed my first movie!

CJ: For fans that are new to you, what are some of your favorite scenes that you could recommend?

Cindy: Obviously, the one I won an award for, Ass Blasting Felching Anal Whores. The stuff I really liked and it was because I looked the best. The makeup artist was great and I got what I wanted, was the Jill Kelly stuff. It’s beautiful and artistic but it’s not so much for the hardcore fuck fans.

CJ: In your gangbang scene that you just shot, did you do double anal or double vag like you used to do?

Cindy: Since I haven’t done anal since the last time I did a movie, I did not do doubles. Right before the scene, in the shower, at the hotel, I stuffed a dildo in my butt. I had to really relax the butt. I had a conversation with my butt for 20 minutes! (laughs) It was uncomfortable so there was no double anal this time but there was DP and a few of my co-stars were absolutely phenomenal. CJ: When you have free time, what do you do for fun?

Cindy: I do everything for fun, anything you could imagine. As I said, I was a high-priced escort and I retired from that about a year and a half ago. And, because my husband owns his own business, I’ve just been fucking around; making art, working out, washing my awesome car, just appreciating it….just being a goofball. Bouncing around and having fun. I like to make art. I make a lot of art.
