Ryan Conner recently came back to the industry after about 10 years away. She generated quite a buzz on the ADT forums and this babe still looks great! Ryan and myself talked about why she left in the first place, why she came back and what she thinks of her daughter following in her career path. Ryan is quite the conversationalist and I had a great time talking to her for well over an hour. Enjoy!

Captain Jack: So how’s the comeback going?

Ryan Conner: It’s going very well. I realize that I was very missed and very loved. It’s an amazing feeling, to be honest.

CJ: Let’s start at the beginning. Tell me about Ryan Conner pre-porn.

Ryan: I was born in Santa Ana and moved to Idaho when I was 9. It’s a town still but it’s in the middle of nowhere. (laughs) I grew up a Jehovah’s Witness, so very, very, very restricted life. There was no sex before marriage. Dating was even really, really monitored. You were always supervised and had a chaperone, that type of thing. It was a unique way to grow up. (laughs)

CJ: You said you were very restricted, when did you lose your virginity?

Ryan: When I got married. I got married at 18 and we drove to our honeymoon and that was where and when I lost my virginity. Very, very traditional life. Very restricted.

CJ: So being restricted, how did you eventually make the jump into porn?

Ryan: I know, right? (laughs) It took me a long while to break the chain of denomination. As a society, we’re raised to believe there is a God and when you go into denomination, you believe even moreso. So the pressure of society is not just within my religion, it’s in all of society. It took a long time for me to find myself and to get comfortable with who I am and with my sexuality. I married a few times, I got away from my parents, my home, my religion and I found myself in the position of needing a job. A friend of mine had danced before so we both started dancing and I started making money. And then I found myself in another position where I wanted to take it further and make more money. I started featuring and then that led to, ‘Hey, if I just make a couple of movies….’ (laughs) Then featuring would be even bigger. That’s when I contacted somebody to possibly start doing movies. I like dancing but I didn’t love it. I liked it. Once I got into porn, I loved it. Porn is so much fun. Oddly enough, it’s a 9 to 5 job and it’s wicked fun. I made a lot of movies, really fast, had a blast, met a lot of people and there were a lot of people on my wavelength. I felt like I was finally in the right niche, around the right people. That’s how I made the transition. It took me from my first marriage at 18, all the way to 28. So 10 years. Believe me when I say it took a long 10 years to break the chain of indoctrination.

CJ: So coming from a religious background, how did your family take it?

Ryan: That’s a little bit of a story. In the Jehovah’s Witness faith, I got disfellowshipped. And when you get disfellowshipped, you’re not supposed to talk to those people. And vice versa. So my family, my dad still talks to me, my parents are divorced and I have two sisters and my mother who are still Jehovah’s Witnesses. They talked to me for a while. The older sister just kind of said, ‘This is my religion and this is what I believe, so I love you and goodbye.’ And I respect her for that. She’s always there if there’s an emergency but she can’t associate with me and I understood. But the other sister and my mother never really wanted to let go. To me, it’s wrong that you let go but I can understand. They grappled with it for a great many years. It wasn’t until about 3 or 4 years ago, my mom finally told me that she can’t talk to me anymore. So I haven’t talked to my mom in 3 or 4 years. Nor the other sister. The one that told me originally that she couldn’t talk to me anymore, I’ve actually contacted her via email or by phone and asked how everybody is, just to make sure they’re alive, etc. It was less about porn and more about me not coming back to their faith. They had a hard time dealing with porn. I didn’t tell them at first, I didn’t tell them for a long time. I didn’t tell them about dancing either. When I finally told them, there were already hints and things that had leaked out so I think they had already known, so it didn’t come as any major surprise. It was my mother who was the worse with it. I think she just denied that it existed. (laughs) As much as I love my family, if that’s how they feel about it, I’m better off for it. If you can walk away from your child….By the way, I did everything for my mom. There was a period of time when she didn’t have support. I bought her a car, I paid for her apartment for 2 years, I paid for everything, food, gas, everything. I realize that my mom’s religion was important to her and I encouraged her to go to church. I don’t see where that’s a bad association. If you can’t talk to somebody, you’re doing them a favor, not actually helping yourself. I think it’s better this way. No sadness! (laughs)

CJ: You were in the industry for about 7 years and had a blast, so why did you leave the industry?

Ryan: That’s a funny story too. I never really retired. I never meant to stop shooting. I was married and he had a hard time with me shooting. It was all of that porn pride. (laughs) I quelled it for a while and bought a house in Vegas. I started to have a little bit of health problems, my glands weren’t cooperating. I gained a lot of weight. I suffer from vertigo, a whole lot of symptoms that I won’t go into. Things that made me feel not myself and not ready to be in front of the camera ago. Although I still always wanted to shoot, I was hoping I would find the right diet or the right supplement that would make me feel like I should be feeling. So I never really retired, I just went on a break. Then my marriage failed and my health wasn’t that good so I didn’t come back immediately. Then my daughter had a conversation with me. She was about 13 or 14 and we were talking about college. She said, ‘I’m not sure if I want to go to college but if I do, I’m going to do what you do so I can get some money together.’ I said, ‘Whaaaaa?’ (laughs) So instead of attempting to get back into the industry at that time, which was 5 or 6 years ago, I decided that I needed to set a better example for her and do something that is a dream of mine and show her how to work hard for your dream. So I started music. I started writing and singing. I cut an album and the songs first went out this year. Then in January or February of this year, she came to me and said, ‘Mom, I want to know what you think about me getting into porn.’ And I have to say, I couldn’t be a hypocrite. I love my daughter but it’s an early age to make a lifelong decision like that. I wanted to say you should chase your dreams and educate yourself and explore who you are because you don’t really know who you are at that age. Once you step into porn, it’s lifelong, it’s forever. So I really didn’t want her to do that but at the same time, porn was very good to me. I have absolutely no complaints. It was an amazing time in my life, I’m having an amazing time again and I couldn’t deny her that. The best I could say is, I had a blast so I hope you have a blast so let me set you off on the best path that I know so that you can have the best career and the best fun. So that’s what I did. So she started shooting in March. Then she started saying, ‘Mike Quasar says hello!’ or ‘So and so says hello!’ or ‘Mark Wood says hello!’ and all these people and I said, ‘Oh my God! I miss those people! I love those people! Those were my friends!’ Those are awesome people who I forgot about and haven’t talked to them in forever. Even though I’m on social media and they’re on social media, I guess we never decided to seek each other out. So she talked about all these people she was meeting and now I have nobody to protect or divert in another direction so why not go back in? It can only help to serve my music career, I think.

CJ: Is your health better?

Ryan: I am now on medication for hypro thyroidism. I’m also on a plethora of hormones because, apparently, my middle glands just do not want to work. That’s mainly the problems I was having. I’m sure it was some kind of brain degradation thing. The food we eat is horrible so I changed my food intake entirely and I feel A LOT better. My health is coming back, I feel great, I’m not suffering the way I was before. And I’m also losing weight. I topped out at 194. I’m not saying that I’m skinny. There’s a healthy weight for me and I’m getting it back. So I feel a lot better than I have in a long, long time. I’m on the path to getting it all straightened out.

CJ: I’ve seen pictures of you and you look fucking good!

Ryan: (laughs) Thank you.

CJ: Can I ask how much you weigh now?

Ryan: I’m 174 now. When I first got into porn, I weighed between 125 and 130. So compared to that, I’m huge. But I feel good and there’s a niche market for this size. So as long as I feel healthy and feel good, I don’t mind doing this, if that makes any sense.

CJ: You mentioned Dylan talked to you at 13 or 14 about porn. Most parents are very protective of their kids, don’t swear, don’t do this, don’t do that, when did Dylan find out about your porn career?

Ryan: She was a very inquisitive child. Both my husband and my photographer worked in my house on my computers on my website. All the pictures, all the videos, etc. Dylan was in elementary school and I got a call from the principal. She was 9, maybe. The principal said they had a complaint from other parents that my child was telling other children that I was doing pictures online, nude. (laughs) So she found out about my career at a very early age. I believe in the Zodiac and personality types and she is definitely a Scorpio. She is very sexual, has a high libido, very, very strong, independent person, kind of stubborn. Everything you’ve heard about a Scorpio is her. So if she had not found out about my career when she found out, would she still have headed for it? Probably. She was always a wild child. But she was always a good kid.

CJ: She told me you gave her two pieces of advice when you joined the industry. One is that you’re always there to market yourself; the second is to always keep your pussy wet.

Ryan: (laughs) That’s hilarious. Yes indeed. The best advice right there.

CJ: What’s your favorite position?

Ryan: In my personal life or in porn?

CJ: Give me both.

Ryan: I think doggie in porn because people like my ass and they like it to be seen. And I think in my personal life, I like missionary. When I’m cumming, I kind of like to lay back and let it happen. I don’t have to hold my body up or anything and can just let go. (laughs)

CJ: What have you shot since you came back?

Ryan: Oh my. They’ve all been pretty epic so far. I worked with Lexington Steele the first day. And, by the way, he’s quite the person to work with for your first scene back. I don’t know if she had been with any girls before that but I know after that, I think we felt so comfortable in it that it could have been a relationship. I was ok with that but I don’t think she was. And I think it messed up her mind so much that we drifted apart. It’s one of my few laments in my life that I lost touch with her. She was a good friend and I miss her dearly.

CJ: There are a lot of pervs out there including myself so please don’t get offended by this question. Would you ever do a B/G/G scene with your daughter? Obviously, you couldn’t touch but would you be interested in doing a scene with Dylan?

Ryan: I would be very uncomfortable with it, for now. I can’t say how I would feel in the future. I do follow her on Instagram and Twitter and vice versa and I do see the pics and I try to be supportive as much as possible. It’s an art form and I treat her like anyone else in the industry and if I like the picture, I like the picture. But it’s such a touchy area that I can’t say that I would not have any regrets to do it and that statement is what holds me back. If I can’t say that I would come clear of it with no regrets then I’m not going to do it. Everybody, and let me tell you, everybody, has asked me that. Will it be in the pipeline someday? I can’t say no it won’t. I don’t know. I don’t know what somebody financially would offer us and I don’t know. At this moment right now, the pay would be way too small and the risk of our feelings and our weirdness would be too great. I’ll just leave it at that.

CJ: How often do you masturbate?

Ryan: At least nightly. (laughs) I use it to go to sleep to be honest with you. I read once upon a time, the climax gets your heart racing but something happens different with a climax than with exercise. Your heartrate shoots up but then it shoots down and a calming comes over you. It’s actually conducive to sleep. I use it to help me get to sleep. (laughs) She’s beautiful, I think she would be a lot of fun. And I haven’t really spent time window shopping. I really should do that. CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?

Ryan: I don’t really have favorite movies because some movies are just timeless. My daughter and I were just talking about The Usual Suspects. You wouldn’t know if it was shot yesterday or 20 years ago, it’s just a very good movie. Seven is another one. Seven Pounds makes me cry every time. Avatar is a newer movie because of the technology but absolutely amazing. So I love all kinds of movies, I could not pick out a favorite.

CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?

Ryan: I don’t really watch TV too much. I don’t even have cable but my friend told me about a year or two ago to watch DaVinci’s Demons. So I downloaded the first season and I never watched it. I finally watched it earlier this year. Oh my Lord Almighty. I love that show like nobody’s business. I watched the whole thing in 3 days. Then I got Season Two and watched it in 3 days. Now it’s a cliffhanger and I’m waiting for the next season.

CJ: What’s your favorite food?

Ryan: Dessert. (laughs) I love cheese. I’m a cheese fanatic. I just love food. I love cooking, I love eating. My tastes have changed over the years. I used to be a breadaholic. I love bread. And I still do but I don’t eat it because I can’t have grains any more. That would probably top the list of food I can’t have. Thai food is probably my favorite.

CJ: This might be unfair because you’ve only been back a week but where do you see yourself in 5 years? Do you have any long range plans?

Ryan: I’m really hoping that my music takes off. I’m not quite sure if the current set of porn is sustainable for a career. I’m really hoping the music takes off not that I will forget about porn. I love it and I have nothing hindering me from shooting so I will probably always dabble in it. But I believe that it’s going to hit a wall; there’s going to be a point where there’s a peak and it kind of peters out. For me. People are shooting me a ton right now and a little bit down the line, they won’t shoot me as much.

CJ: By the way, what’s the genre of music? I don’t think you said that.

Ryan: It’s pop with a little bit of rock. Think something along the lines of Pink. I’m very happy with the album, it turned out great. The album is about my journey in porn. (laughs) The next song that is out is called The Radical. It’s probably my favorite song off the album. The video is amazing too. There will be press releases about it, I’m going to make it big.
