Captain Jack: Tell me about Melony Melons.
Melony Melons: I’m originally from Southern California, I’m a Cali girl through and through, whatever that means, the good and the bad. (laughs) I’m super easy going, laid back and all about the vibe. I grew up Italian Catholic, super conservative, listened to things like opera and Lawrence Welk and now I’m totally the opposite of that. I was a stripper for a long time, like 18 years. I made a career out of it. I was incorporated so, why not, it was a business. I’m not a Michelin Star Trained Chef. I’ve really risen through the ranks of that. I needed gas money to go home so I got up on stage! And I made $300 on my first day and had no idea what I was doing. I thought I could figure it out and I did!
CJ: Were you a very sexual person in your younger days?
Melony: Yes. Especially being a stripper in Los Angeles when I was. VIP rooms came into play so you had to be a very sexual person. I read an article that had the top 11 people who had the most sex in the world. I actually ranked above Charlie Sheen. I actually ranked #6 in the world. Melony: I binge-watch so much. Right now, I like Yellowjackets, The Blacklist, Sons of Anarchy even though I know it’s over. Also, The Sopranos.
CJ: What’s your favorite food?
Melony: I love everything. Making my meatballs probably brings me a lot of joy. It’s a family tradition, it’s my recipe that I elevated. It’ll probably the best meatballs you’ve had in your life.
