I didn’t really have a specific reason like ‘this is why’. It’s just something that was very intriguing to me. I met an adult film star when she was feature dancing because one of my many jobs was dancing. I was a stripper for 8 years. I met her and talked to her and she told me how it was behind the scenes. How professional it is, how everyone’s tested every 2 weeks and how safe it is. I was like, ‘Wow, you don’t think of it like that!’ At least I didn’t. I thought you go to a porn set like in Boogie Nights where everyone is having sex with each other and getting drunk. It’s not like that at all. It’s very professional. You’re working. I go there, I do paperwork, all my legal paperwork, I take photos of my IDs, I clean-up everything, do whatever I need to do, do whatever the guy needs to do, take photos together and then we film the whole scene. There’s so much that goes into it and a lot of people don’t know that. I always like to touch base on that.

CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?

Kenzie: I’ve always liked the name ‘Kenzie’ so that’s why I chose that and then ‘Taylor’ was because I always get told that I look like Taylor Swift. I looked up other adult performers and the only other Kenzie that popped up was one that retired 7 years ago or so. I thought it was perfect and now it’s funny because there are a lot of others. CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?

Kenzie: Oh my God, I was so nervous. Luckily, I got to work with a veteran performer who was so amazing. I also got to work with a really good director who’s amazing. The director was Mike Quasar and the talent was Mark Wood. Both of them are veterans in the industry. It was not that easy because I was acting like I have sex at home and it’s not like that. I wasn’t aware of how to position my body but I was lucky to have Mark who positioned my body and showed me what to do. I’m thankful that was my first scene because I think I would have been even more scared. (laughs) I loved it! After it was done, I thought, ‘I can do this!’ Then I did a few more and after 6 scenes, you’re more relaxed and the nerves go away. Now, I walk around on set naked and chat with the crew. Before, I would walk around in a robe or towel and be freaked out.

CJ: What’s your favorite position?

Kenzie: I really like doggie.

CJ: Have you ever been in an inappropriate sexual relationship?

Kenzie: Yeah. Um. My best friend in high school, I had sex with her dad quite a few times. I don’t want to say I was building a relationship with him but I would talk to him back-and-forth and stuff and he would buy me nice things. It was a pretty good relationship we had going.
