Captain Jack interviews Kenna James

Kenna is a very pretty petite blonde who I had the pleasure of first meeting at the most recent Adult Entertainment Expo in Vegas in January. I first approached her for an interview back then and I recently had a chance to catch up with her. Captain Jack: Tell me about Kenna James.

Kenna James: I was actually a very nerdy girl growing up. I sat in the corner and read my books. I was far from popular. (laughs) I was a lot different than I am today.

CJ: When did you come out of your shell?

Kenna: I came out of my shell when I started dancing, when I started stripping. That was what really brought me out.

CJ: How old are you?

Kenna: I am 20 right now.

CJ: How long have you been in the industry?

Kenna: I’ve been in the industry for 6 or 7 months now.

CJ: Are you lesbian in real life or are you bisexual?

Kenna: I am bisexual. I like to create beautiful scenes with girls and with guys I just don’t think I’d get that.

CJ: When was the first time you were with a girl?

Kenna: Very, very young age. (laughs) I was probably 9 or 10.

CJ: Full on sex?

Kenna: Ah, yeah. (laughs)

CJ: When did you lose your virginity?

Kenna: I was 17 when I had sex with a guy. It was with a boyfriend, nothing special. (laughs)

CJ: You were with another girl at 9 and a guy at 17, did you become promiscuous after that?

Kenna: Not really, I was actually very selective, I was only with 3 guys. I was very careful.

CJ: What about girls?

Kenna: I had sex with a lot of girls, yes. (laughs)

CJ: Do you have a number?

Kenna: Not any more. (laughs) I honestly have no idea.

CJ: Even though you were shy, at what age did you learn the power of the pussy?

Kenna: I didn’t know I was beautiful until my senior year of high school. I didn’t know I was pretty. I guess that’s when I realized. I’m not one of those girls that use that to get what I want.

CJ: How and why did you decide to get into the adult industry?

Kenna: It was actually by accident. My agent contacted me through a modeling website. I just took off from there.

CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?

Kenna: I wanted something really unique and really pretty and I thought Kenna James was perfect.

CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around watching you fuck!

Kenna: I was very nervous but it went exceptionally well. It went above and beyond what I thought I could do.

CJ: I’ve heard that in porn in girl/girl scenes, it’s hard to cum because you really have to open up for the camera and can’t really get in there like in real life. Did you find that to be the case?

Kenna: Just fun. To me, guys are more of an intimate thing. I want to marry a guy but girls, for me, are more recreational. (laughs)

CJ: What have you learned about yourself sexually since joining porn?

Kenna: There’s not much I’ve learned that I didn’t already know. I guess I experimented enough before porn that I knew what I liked.

CJ: What are you like off-camera? What are your hobbies and interests?

Kenna: I love to read. I like to do anything outdoors, hiking, biking. I like to listen to music.

CJ: What kind of music do you like?

Kenna: Anything but bluegrass.

CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?

Kenna: Right now, I’m obsessed about the show Once Upon A Time.

CJ: Do you play video games?

Kenna: Yes, right now my favorite is Diablo 3.

CJ: What’s your favorite food?

Kenna: Tacos, I really like tacos.

CJ: What does the future hold? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Kenna: I’m going to college to be a vet, specifically veterinary medicine.

CJ: Any upcoming scenes that your fans can look forward to?

Kenna: I’ve actually got a Mia Malkova scene for Mile High. I have a few others coming out. And Vanessa Veracruz, I did her in Vanessa Loves Girls.
