Captain Jack: Tell me about Jillian Janson. What kind of girl were you growing up, family life, etc.

Jillian Janson: From a very young age, I was pretty independent. I stopped hanging around girls when I was in the 9^th grade because I didn’t like the drama. I was a party girl so I hung out with guys a lot. I was always in that kind of a crowd. I’ve had a hard life, (laughs) I’m always going to remember where I came from. My mother and I moved into this little camper one time because we couldn’t afford anything else. I lived with my dad for a time in Indiana and he has a nice house and everything. I was having a good time and getting good grades but he and I didn’t click very well. I moved back to Minnesota with my mother and, even though I’ve only been out here two weeks, I miss her to death. When I joined the adult entertainment industry, he disowned me. He stopped doing his fatherly things. So I’ve always been independent and you could say conservative, I kept to myself a lot. I don’t like drama or anything so I stay out of that.

CJ: How’s your mom with your decision, is she ok with that?

Jillian: She knew before I even came out here. I told her first and she said that it’s my life. I wasn’t really going anywhere where I was. I just dropped out of high school. I was a senior in high school when I first started in the industry in August. Then I put it on hold a little bit to start my senior year. Everything was great the first month and then two weeks ago, on Monday, everyone found out who I am and what I do. They were showing my Twitter all around school and everything. So by Thursday, I filed the paperwork to drop out and on Friday I was on a plane to California! I still have to go back; I have a little kitty. I love animals. So I have to get her and the rest of my stuff and get my car to come back out here.

CJ: So you said your high school classmates found out. Jillian Brookes is obviously a stage name, how did they put 2 and 2 together and figure it out?

Jillian: I told my best girlfriends, I trusted them. I know they didn’t tell anyone. But I told some guys who had dropped out of high school a few months before. But they told some guys in my school, who were jocks and were popular. And then it started spreading around. My school district had split into two a couple of years ago, so both schools knew who I was and everything. Like I said, I was independent and didn’t want to deal with the drama, so I left.

A huge question that everyone asks is if I’m going to finish high school. Yes, of course, I’m going to get my GED or my HEP, which is the High School Equivalency Program. I just have to test out then I get my diploma like I would if I walked out on that stage.

CJ: So you shot your first scene in August, when did you turn 18?

Jillian: On May 23, so I’m a Gemini. I turned 18 before everyone in high school, before my senior year.

CJ: So how long had you been thinking about getting into porn?

Jillian: I started having sexual relations when I was 13 years old. And I got into porn as well. I don’t remember how I got into it, but I started watching it. So I knew in general what happens.
