Eva Nyx Talks with Captain Jack

I first interviewed Eva about 2 1/2 years ago when she was fairly new to the industry. Since then, I have seen her at a couple AVN conventions and other events and we talked about a lot. However, I haven’t had a chance to interview her again until the recent 1st Annual Porn Crush Media Day. Eva was stunning as  I first saw her in a tiny bikini! That’s something you don’t forget!

Captain Jack: I talked to you when you were two months into your career. How has the last year gone?

Eva Nyx: I’m actually shooting a lot more lately so I’m really busy. I had to take a break and I came back into it this year full force. I go back and forth in between LA and Vegas and I’ve been busy!

CJ: You’re only 22 but you were a teacher before joining porn. Was it weird teaching high school when you were just a couple years older than the students?

Eva: Honestly, I’m an older sister so I came across as, ‘Here’s how I view the world’ and we’re a lot closer in age and just my language and confidence, they really took to me moreso than an older teacher.

CJ: You’re gorgeous so did the students hit on you?

Eva: Oh yeah, all the time! (laughs)

CJ: Did something ever happen?

Eva: No, never!

CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?

Eva: I wanted something short and sweet and something that people could remember easily. Something cute but also serious. (laughs)

CJ: For fans that are new to you, what scenes would you recommend they check out?

Eva: Lately, I’ve shot a couple scenes for Adult Time. Those are some of my favorites. I just shot for BJ Raw, that was super fun. And my VR Bangers scene I just did was so much fun!

CJ: Who are some of your favorite performers and directors?

Eva: Avery Black, she’s a great director, I love her. Performer-wise, I just did a collab and a scene with Isiah Maxwell, he’s super fun.

CJ: Is there anyone out there that you would love to work with that you haven’t had a chance to yet?

Eva: There’s a couple of people here, actually. Mike Adriano, Shawn Alf…that’s just off the top of my head. There’s tons of people

CJ: You said you were into older guys for a while. Where did you mostly pick up these guys?

Eva: Tinder or at the bar. I’d pick them up that way. Or just out in the wild like at a grocery store. (laughs)

CJ: Are you still into older guys?

Eva: Definitely! Definitely!

CJ: Let’s talk about girls, if you were granted a lesbian showcase movie, what 4 girls would you want in it with you?

Eva: Hmmm. The latest girl crushes that I’ve had are Jill Taylor, Niko Lova. I just did a girl/girl scene with Reya Lovenlight. She strapped me for the first time and that was amazing! (laughs) There’s so many I could choose from…Zoey Uso!

CJ: Are you a fan of tribbing?

Eva: Yes.

CJ: When you’re with a girl, do you like it to be just the two of you or do you like toys to be involved?

Eva: Either way, honestly. If it’s just us or toys can be fun too.

CJ: Are you going to do anal on camera?

Eva: I haven’t done it yet and I haven’t done it much in my personal life so maybe if I get some practice, I’ll try it.

CJ: You’re 24. Is it hard to date while being a porn star?

Eva: I feel like guys more my age, it’s probably harder. But since I’m into older gentlemen, they’re a little bit more respectful and understanding. And maybe they’re a little bit more excited about it. (laughs)

CJ: If you weren’t in porn, what would you be doing right now?

Eva: I think if I wasn’t, I’d probably be doing something with my psychology degree. A therapist or a counselor or maybe still in teaching.

CJ: What have you learned about yourself sexually since you started in the industry?

Eva: That I like the attention to be on me. I like the spotlight and I like the lights and the camera, honestly. It’s a bigger turn on than I’ve embraced before.

CJ: Do you ever get recognized in public?

Eva: Since I moved to Vegas and I’ve been traveling a lot, pretty frequently actually.

CJ: Are they respectful?

Eva: Yes, most of the time. I usually don’t give them enough time to be disrespectful. (laughs)

CJ: What’s the wildest or kinkiest thing you’ve ever done in your personal life?

Eva: I’ve fucked in an outdoor setting, like in a fairgrounds. (laughs)
