Elly Clutch Talks with Captain Jack

Captain Jack: Tell me about Elly Clutch.
Elly Clutch: I’m from California. I got started in the adult industry about 4 years ago but really hit the ground running as far as finding my own style and my own way of doing things about 2 years ago. I was doing independent and amateur work and started out only working with my fiance’ and other girls. As I got more comfortable and grew into my own style then I started expanding my horizons. I’ve been doing really well for the past 2 years and my debut mainstream scene just released 2 months ago. At this point, I only have 3 scenes out. But I have a pretty large platform on Pornhub and I won a couple of awards from them. I won a couple of awards from XBiz and I won an award in Venus Berlin last year and I won all that from just doing amateur. I wanted to try something new and have the experience of doing more mainstream stuff. I wanted my fans to see me in a different light and push myself acting wise and prove to myself that there’s a stigma with being an amateur creator which is that you can’t be on a set and I wanted to prove that I could. I knew that I would like it and enjoy it and was waiting for the right opportunity. Brazzers provided me with that. It’s just been amazing. I’ve done some scenes with them and then they offered me a part in Digital Playground’s Deadly Vows which I was honored to be able to do.
CJ: You play a bad ass in that movie, you’re a crime boss, how did you like the acting?
Elly: I love it! I feel that a lot of other adult creators can relate to the fact that there’s a stigma to the way we work. A lot of people don’t realize that a lot of adult actors were huge nerds. I was a math nerd, I was in choir, I hung out with the theatre kids. I always enjoyed being able to create. That’s one reason that I love my job. I’m feel like an artist and being able to evoke a feeling in somebody else. I’m really passionate about that. Even if the feeling is just horniness, that’s great. (laughs) I made someone else feel something and that’s a beautiful thing. So, I really enjoy doing the acting and there’s really no other time in your life that you’re able to do that. And being a person that you don’t relate to, like you said, my role’s pretty bad ass, but you’re talking to me right now and I’m pretty happy and smiling and it’s a complete 180 from myself as a person. When I found out this was going to be my first big role, I was, ‘Oh shit!’ I had to lock this in and bring out the personality. It was really, really fun for me. I enjoyed it a lot.
CJ: What was the audition process like?
Elly: I didn’t at all. I was very, very fortunate that Brazzers had seen me on set and I had already done a couple scenes with them and so they vouched for me with Ricky. And I had a couple interactions with Ricky Greenwood and Brazzers told him I would do a really good job. Even my amateur stuff, it’s very acting heavy. I think my being on set and the history or acting, I’m happy that Ricky took me on.
CJ: You’re sex scene is out the week of Sept. 22. Who’s it with and how was that?
Elly: It’s with Scott Nails and it’s my second time working with hm because my debut Brazzers scene was a threesome with him and Luna Star. I was able to work with him a second time in this environment and have him one on one. And he’s an incredible performer. He’s absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed working with him. He sees the scene and immediately thinks of how we can play it. What kind of crazy stuff can we do? Scott and I play ex-lovers and we’ve been reunited so we really wanted to bring that passion and I was really glad that I could interact with him before so we had that baseline and we had spent days together on set. He’s just amazing. Having that familiarity with him really brought out that comfort and pushed the envelope. Since we were comfortable with each other, we could get a little bit crazy.
CJ: Do you prefer acting to gonzo?
Elly: I haven’t done any mainstream gonzo yet. So, when it comes to my own work, I do a lot of roleplay because I enjoy that and, especially if I’m doing POV, I like having the viewer fall in love with me a little bit. I like to evoke that feeling of nostalgia or something that helps the viewer connect which is something I look for when I watch porn. So, I really want to deliver that and I always look for something where I can tell the girl’s having a really good time. And that’s the way I have sex and the way I express myself. I like to be able to transition that to my scenes and the acting helps. But…there’s nothing wrong with just fucking. (laughs)
CJ: And I can see the viewer easily falling in love with you. With your looks and your personality, I don’t think that’s an issue.
Elly: Thank you. I appreciate that. I like to be able to really connect with the person that’s watching. I think it’s important to me too that it’s real sex and real passion. I want them to be able to see that and bring out that feeling, what it might be like to actually have sex with me. (laughs)
CJ: You said you started four years ago, what did you do, start an OnlyFans?
Elly: Yes. Four years ago, it was right after the pandemic, I had a couple different jobs. I was always one of those types of people that had 3 or 4 jobs at the same time. And when the pandemic hit, I lost all my jobs. I was bored and had a lot of time on my hands so I started streaming video games on Twitch. That’s when I first started doing anything online at all. And it gave me the time to watch myself performing and figure out what I was good at. I knew that once I figured those things out, I would be able to create a career that was stable for me and where I was really happy. And over the first two years of doing it, it was a slow progression before I started doing more explicit things and I got more comfortable. And now look at me! (laughs)
CJ: You have tremendous natural breasts, what size are they?

CJ: Were you a very sexual person before you entered the industry?
Elly: I’ve always been a very sexual person and also pretty experimental. I was, ‘I’ll try anything twice!’ But I would never say I was an exhibitionist necessarily. CJ: Were you with girls before porn?
Elly: No. Actually, the first experience I had with a girl was in a threesome. Off-camera, in my own personal life, luckily I have a partner who’s very comfortable with me being sexual. I had also done Penthouse, I was on the cover of Hustler, I had done Playboy and even though those aren’t explicit sex scenes, I was in front of people, naked. Elly: I’m a very creative person. I like to do different projects, I like to sew, I like to be outside. I ski and always do that in the winter. I like to paly video games still. I like being with my friends. It’s funny because my hobbies have shifted so much because I used to work a normal job and I yearned to create something outside of that job and now that my job is creation, I have other hobbies.
CJ: What’s the wildest or kinkiest thing you’ve ever done in your personal life?
Elly: I attended a sex party once. I know that’s not that wild to a lot of people and I DID have sex at the sex party. It was really fun but it’s probably because now because what I find in my own sex life is the opposite of that.
