I asked the questions that Barbara Walters and Piers Morgan were afraid to ask! Belle has been all over the news lately because she is attending Duke University and got outed as a porn star from a fellow student. Since that time, Belle has been making the interview rounds. She finally made her way over to me and I enjoyed a nice chat with her. Belle comes off as a very intelligent person with a lot going on in her life. I hope you learn a little about her porn life with this interview.

Captain Jack: So tell me about Belle Knox. What kind of girl were you growing up? School life? Family life?

Belle Knox: I was a really good student. I was a nerd. I was in all honors classes. I was involved in everything. I was on the debate team. But at the same time, I was a freak in the bed. So I was a closet freak.

CJ: You are very cute, when did you lose your virginity?

Belle Knox: I lost my virginity when I was 16 years old to my best friend who was 6’7”. I had been horny ever since I was 12 years old but every time I wanted to have sex either his mom was home or my mom was home and it never worked out. So this one day, his mom was on a business trip to Alaska and he called me and said, ‘Babe, come over right now! This is our opportunity, this is our chance.’ So I went over there and we were just sitting there so I said, “Are you going to fuck me or what?’ (laughs) He was a really big guy and it hurt but I was addicted to sex right after.

CJ: Did you become very promiscuous after that?

Belle Knox: Yes.

CJ: When was your first time with a girl?

Belle Knox: Well, I’ve always like girls my entire life but I didn’t really explore it until I was 17. It started out by making out with girls at parties, just like truth or dare games. Then I got a girlfriend last summer and then I started having sex with girls.

CJ: OK, then you got accepted to Duke. Did I read somewhere that you had a scholarship offer from Vanderbilt?

Belle Knox: I did, yes, but I chose to go to Duke because it was such a great school.

CJ: It’s all over the news so we don’t have to rehash it but you couldn’t afford the $60,000/year tuition so you decided to go into porn. Was there a long thought process behind it?

Belle Knox: What happened was I couldn’t afford to pay for college. I had a $4300/month bill for tuition. I looked around for a minimum wage job but I knew economically there was no job out there that was going to pay me $4300/month. I wasn’t going to get a government loan because I didn’t want to burden my family and burden myself with hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt so I started looking online. I saw ads for sex work like stripping and porn and that they paid a lot of money so I sent my pictures to a bunch of agencies.

CJ: So within a week or so people were contacting you?

Belle Knox: Within days I was getting calls from agencies.

CJ: Lot of girls join the industry every month, a lot of them still in school, why do you think your story took off nationally?

Belle Knox: I think that a lot of these girls that become involved in scandals, you don’t really hear from them. I’ve been one of the first people, I think, who have come out and refused to be shamed, refused to be harassed, refused to be portrayed as a naive, exploited little girl. And I’ve come out in the sex industry which I think is so rare these days.

CJ: I saw highlights of your View appearance last week. I just wanted you to backhand that bitch Sherri Shephard when she said “My heart bleeds for you.” I was impressed with how you kept your composure.

Belle Knox: There are a lot of close-minded people out there.

CJ: What was your first scene like? Were you intimidated being in front of all the cameras?

Belle Knox: My first scene in LA was at a big mansion in Malibu and the guy was as hot as hell. I remember thinking, ‘I get to have sex with that guy? And I get paid for it? Awesome.’ I remember it was really nerve-wracking with a guy watching me have sex and I felt subconscious and very awkward.

CJ: How long did it take you to overcome that?

Belle Knox: While we were shooting, I got over it. I thought, ‘OK, I’m going to do my own thing, I’m going to make a great scene.’ I think when you watch that video, you can see in my eyes that I felt awkward but you really have to zone it out.

CJ: Do you have any favorite scenes?

Belle Knox: My favorite scene was the one I did with James Deen for X-Art. I also have a new movie coming out called Real College Girls for Adam and Eve. I also really like my Reality Kings scene where I took an 11” dick. It was really fun. (laughs) I love being where I can be myself and when I can incorporate what I like. Belle Knox: Maybe. I would totally love to do more rough sex scenes in a controlled environment where the performers are treated well.

CJ: When you first show up on set, you are about to have sex with someone you have never met before. Do you talk with them about do’s and don’ts and what they like and don’t like?

Belle Knox: I try to. I think to have a good scene you have to have that chemistry, whether it be by talking to the talent or getting to know them. Like the scene with James Deen, the first thing I said to him was, ‘I love you so much’ and then we started talking about feminism. And it was probably the hottest sex I ever had because we had this incredible chemistry. He’s amazing.

CJ: Besides the rough stuff, what really gets you off sexually? What gets you wet?

And that’s completely within my rights to have boundaries as an adult performer. What happened that day was I was not aware that I was working with Steven St. Croix. I did not know how old he was. I asked my agent beforehand how old he was and he said 30, 35. When I got there and looked him up, I was surprised at how old he was. I was shocked. And I also found out at that time that the site I was shooting for was an old guy/young girl fetish site. So my boundaries were being pushed and I was shocked. I feel very bad about how this entire thing has gone down and I feel very bad that I’m sure this was hurtful for him. I want to apologize to Steven St. Croix but I don’t apologize for having my boundaries. I shouldn’t have ever been booked for that scene. I would just like to add that the scene happened and Steven was very professional and a great performer.

CJ: So what does the future hold for Belle Knox? Are you going to stay in this until you leave Duke?

Belle Knox: My plan is to graduate from Duke and become a lawyer and achieve my dreams.

CJ: When you first got into the industry, did you ever think how porn will affect you the rest of your life and it might affect your job prospects as a lawyer?

Belle Knox: I’m going to turn this into a mixed blessing. I’m going to turn this into something positive where I can speak out about sex worker rights. As for future employment, I would never want to work with somebody who would discriminate against me. I’m sure there are some firms who won’t hire me but I’ve had a lot of lawyers and law firms say they would love to hire me. My goal is to be a Civil Rights Lawyer and I think my career in porn can only help me.
