Captain Jack Interviews Alexis Monroe
Alexis is an absolutely gorgeous blonde who I have long wanted to interview. I finally got my chance and it was worth the wait. Alexis is very communicative and fun to talk to. She took time out from a recent dancing gig to talk to me so enjoy the chat!
Captain Jack: Tell me about Alexis Monroe.
Alexis Monroe: I was born and raised in Michigan so I’m a Midwest girl. I went to school for massage therapy but found that wasn’t really for me because it was super boring and I couldn’t pass the ethics class. Strangely enough. (laughs) I decided that I wanted to travel and see the world and I was having drinks with a bunch of friends one day and one thing led to another and me and my girlfriend ended up applying online to do a porn shoot. I didn’t really think it was going to go anywhere until I woke up the next day and I had an email saying they wanted me to come to Florida to shoot. So I said, ‘Why not?’
CJ: Who’s your girlfriend? Is she still in it?
Alexis: No, she ended up not doing it.
CJ: You had to take an ethics class to do massage?
Alexis: You have to go through the whole curriculum. I think it’s just because they want you to know that ‘Hey, you can’t steal from your clients!’, ‘Hey, you can’t fuck your clients!’, and ‘Hey, you can’t do any of these bad things!’
CJ: How old are you?
Alexis: I’m 26.
CJ: How long have you been in the industry?
Alexis: 6 years.
CJ: You have a nice rack, what size are they?
Alexis: It depends. On a good day, they’re a 34 D. On a bad day, they’re a 32 D. But definitely a D cup. (laughs)
CJ: You are a stunning woman. I imagine you had a lot of attention back in high school!
Alexis: No, I was kind of the ugly duckling. Of course, I dated and things like that but I never hung out with the cool kids or went to the parties and stuff like that. I didn’t actually start getting attention until college. I don’t necessarily think it was because I was more attractive, it was because I gained more confidence and I started taking pride in that. When people put me down, I would start standing up to them.
CJ: When did you lose your virginity?
Alexis: I was a junior in high school.
CJ: Is there a good story behind it?
Alexis: No, it was with my high school boyfriend. (laughs) Pretty boring.
CJ: Were you with girls before porn?
Alexis: I was, actually. I was in a threeway relationship with a guy and a girl.
CJ: Was it the same guy you lost your virginity to?
Alexis: No. (laughs) I didn’t stick with that guy very long.
CJ: OK, threeway relationship. Does that mean 2 of you could pair off and do things on your own or you’d do everything with all three of you? How did that work?
Alexis: Both. Basically, I met this guy and he was dating a girl. He explained that they had an open relationship and it wasn’t really anything I had heard about before because I just never met anyone like that. He explained that they play together, they play alone, if she’s not available to come out, we’d just hang out, that sort of thing. It was good for me because it really opened my eyes up to a lot of sexual things that I had never experienced firsthand. It was really cool because, growing up, you don’t really know until you try it. So I tried everything to know if I liked it or not.
CJ: Do you know how many people you slept with before porn?
Alexis: Oh God, no, I don’t count. (laughs)
CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?
Alexis: I wish I had a great story for that but I don’t. When I was growing up, I really liked the name Alexis because I think girls don’t like their names for one reason or another and I really liked that name. My agent at the time came up with Monroe. And that was the end of that. I think it might have had something to do with my blonde hair.
CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?
Alexis: A little bit nervous just because I didn’t know what to expect. It wasn’t anything that I knew about. Flying down there, I was thinking that I was going to get paid for the sex that I have in my personal life, which is going to be pretty cool. CJ: How long did it take you to master the little tricks that girls have to do like arching, opening up and all that stuff?
Alexis: I’m still learning. I think it’s all about knowing your body. Ever since I launched my website, I’m really in tune with my posing. You don’t really realize when you’re shooting photos because you’re not editing them all. When photographers take photos, you don’t think they’re taking 500-600 photos because you see 10 or 12. You think that you’re so good at it. When you’re the ones taking the photos, you go through them and think, ‘Why are these all shitty?’ By the time you get to the end, you have 12 good photos. You have to know your angles, you have to know your light. You have to be a photographer to get it.
CJ: In the 6 years you’ve been in it, do you have any favorite scenes?
Alexis: I have a lot of favorite scenes. I recently did a DP for Pierre Woodman that I really, really liked. It wasn’t necessarily because it was a super high quality scene, I liked it because it was probably one of my best scenes as far as orgasms go. I actually, physically got off and enjoyed every moment of it. I’m not a big fan of anal but I enjoy DPs. Most of my fans think I’m crazy because a DP is still anal but, for me, it’s the sensation. CJ: Have you ever been in an inappropriate sexual relationship?
Alexis: I have not. I’m probably the only porn girl that has not. It kind of grosses me out, I’m not going to lie to you. Even when I have to play those things on set, I never, growing up, was ever attracted to any of my teachers or my instructors or anything like that. I always looked at it as “off limits” but I’ve definitely played it lots. I can play it really well. (laughs)
CJ: A lot of the guys in porn are older. Does it ever bother you to work with older men?
Alexis: Not at all. I kind of look at it as the guys who have been shooting for many years are my favorite guys because they know what to do, they don’t hurt you, they’re very passionate about what they do and they have a lot of experience. So I actually prefer it to younger talent.
CJ: What’s the oldest guy you’ve been with in your personal life?
Alexis: Probably mid-40s. It’s not like I wouldn’t do anyone older than that. It’s if we have passion between the two of us, that’s what really gets me.

Fitness is a big part of my life; whether it’s lifting or cardio or hiking with my dogs, kayaking, paddleboarding…anything that allows me to exert energy because I have a lot of energy. I really like traveling. I have two trips planned out of the country this year, Indonesia and Mexico, so that’s really exciting to me. I also love eating and that sounds so weird. That shouldn’t be a hobby because we have to do it but I am just a sucker for fine dining.
CJ: How is motherhood treating you?
Alexis: So wonderful! Everyone has their own opinions about being a mom in the industry but, for me, it’s taught me a lot about my body and it’s taught me a lot about the things I can do. I love it so much! Someday, I hope my child will thank me for it but, for now, it’s supporting their life.
CJ: Did you have a boy or a girl?
Alexis: I have a boy.
CJ: What kind of music do you like?
Alexis: I like a little bit of everything but the things I listen to most are hip hop and easy listening.
CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?
Alexis: I’m a Disney fanatic so any Disney movie, there’s a chance that I’ll love it. It was kind of annoying that Beauty and the Beast, I hated it just because I don’t think Emma Watson was a great Belle. I’m a little pissy about it but I’m looking forward to The Little Mermaid that’s coming out. Other than that, I like action movies a lot. I thought Wolverine was good.
CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?
Alexis: I’m a binge watcher, it’s so terrible. Right now, I’m watching Peaky Blinders. It’s my absolute favorite. I got suckered into it because I was watching Taboo and I got into Tom Hardy. So I started watching Peaky Blinders because I was hoping to see more of him in that kind of role. I’m looking forward to Game of Thrones starting again. I watch The OA also, on Netflix.
