I have been trying to talk to Adria for a long time now. She is a busy girl but we both recently spent a weekend in Chicago and I got a chance to finally interview her! Mason cast her in Super Cute 7 for HardX and cute is a good word for this girl. I spent a lot of time talking with Adria other than just the interview questions and to look down at her with that big smile and those gorgeous eyes…well, let me just say it doesn’t get much better than that! Captain Jack: Tell me about Adria Rae.

Adria Rae: I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I lived in a small little suburban town, everybody drove a white Yukon, every house looked the same type shit. (laughs) I lived on the outskirts on quite a bit of land. Growing up, my parents grew a lot of fruits and vegetables and stuff. My parents are vegan for the majority of my life so it was a very health conscious environment. My parents were stoners, really laid back liberal hippies. They were always very cool, very supportive and accepting of whatever I decided to do. When I got into the adult industry, they were initially kind of scared but now they’re more accepting of it. They’re not ok with it but they’re more tolerant. ‘We wish you would do something else but whatever makes you happy!’

CJ: How old are you?

Adria: I’m 20 years old, I’m going to be 21 soon. In August.

CJ: How long have you been in the industry?

Adria: I’ve been shooting for 2 years now. It was shortly before I turned 19, it was right around this time.

CJ: When did you lose your virginity?

Adria: I lost my virginity in the back of my boyfriend’s car at the Homecoming football game at halftime. He was 16 at the time and I was 13. (laughs)

CJ: After you got the first one out of the way, were you promiscuous after that?

Adria: Oh yeah. I was always promiscuous even before I lost my virginity, I was messing around and kissing boys and just being a shithead. (laughs)

CJ: How many guys did you sleep with before porn?

Adria: Oh my God, I don’t even know. It has to be in the 20s.

CJ: Were you with girls before porn?

Adria: I didn’t fool around with girls until I was 17. It was me and my other girlfriend. She was a little bit older and it was when I was a senior about to leave high school.

CJ: How and why did you decide to get into the adult industry?

Adria: I decided to get into porn because I was initially webcamming and I wanted to drive traffic to my room so I could make more money that way. I wasn’t really planning on leaving Michigan and then they said, ‘We want to shoot you all the time!’ and I was, ‘Oh, shit!’ Then I moved to LA and here I am!

CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?

Adria: I actually found it through a name generator. I wanted an ‘A’ name so I started clicking on names. Adria popped up, It was kind of unique and I didn’t see any other porn stars with that spelling. And then I came up with a bunch of surnames and started pairing them with it and Rae kind of rolled off the tongue. Everyone fucking uses Rae but I thought it sounded nice.

CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around watching you fuck!

Adria: I was a little nervous because it’s completely different when there’s a camera there and you’re getting direction. I thought it was going to be more like real sex but then when I got there, I realized that I was working. I think that was the biggest trip for me…working versus just being my sexual self. CJ Is that going to be a regular thing for you now, shooting DPs?

Adria: I think so. I just wanted to try it with him because I’m comfortable and I wanted to see if I liked it. I ended up really enjoying it so I definitely think that, in the future, I’ll be shooting more DPs.

CJ: A lot of the guys in porn are older. Does it ever bother you to work with older men?

Adria: No. (laughs) If anything, I almost prefer it. Younger guys will try to get my number and try to talk to me afterwards. And I don’t want that.

CJ: You just want to fuck.

Adria: I like hip hop, rap music, a lot of up and coming new artists, underground music, I guess.

CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?

Adria: I would have to say The Shining.

CJ: What’s your favorite food?

Adria: I’d have to say my mom’s pork chops.
