Captain Jack interviews Payton West

Payton actually got my eye on Twitter. I began talking to her and thought she was interesting. We set up a time to talk and she gave me the lowdown on her porn career and what she loves about sex! Captain Jack: Tell me about Payton West.

Payton West: I grew up in La Jolla. My family life was ok, interesting, I guess you could say. It was kind of boring and quiet. We moved around a lot so I was in different high schools.

CJ: How old are you?

Payton: I’m 27.

CJ: When did you lose your virginity?

Payton: I was about 16 ½. I was in a long term relationship for about a year and a half. He was nice enough to wait. He asked and really wanted it. I finally said, ‘Screw it’ and I did it and it didn’t quite work. The first time was really weird. It was awkward and we didn’t know what to do. After that, he went on vacation and I watched porn to figure out what to do. (laughs) When he came back, it was better.

CJ: You said you watched porn as an instructional. Was that the first time you watched porn?

Payton: Yes. I don’t remember who was in it or anything.

CJ: Did that open up the floodgates? Were you promiscuous after that?

Payton. Yes. (laughs) Unfortunately. I think all girls go through that phase.

CJ: How many guys did you sleep with before porn?

Payton: Not too many. But definitely. Maybe 20 or 30. I’m a huge stoner so my memory is shot to shit. (laughs)

CJ: When was the first time you were with a girl?

Payton: Not too long after my first experience with a guy. Probably two months later. I did everything all at once. Between my freshman and sophomore year, all hell broke loose. (laughs)

CJ: What kind of jobs did you have before porn?

Payton: I was a trust fund baby so I never really worked anywhere. I worked at Disneyland briefly! (laughs)

Payton: It was something I felt I needed to do. I had already briefly dabbled in it and being the spoiled brat I was, I thought it was too far a drive to go to shoots. That was in 2008. I figured it was something I should do before I got too old.

CJ: You dabbled in it back in 2008, what did you shoot and were you under the same name?

Payton: Oh no, I shot under different names. I shot girl/girl amateur stuff. Nothing too hardcore.

CJ: But now you’re into it full-time right?

Payton: Yes.

CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around watching you fuck!

Payton: They knew when I was in it the first time. This time, I wasn’t going to tell them but I’m not going to deny it either. I have my own life so they can’t really say too much. I don’t look at it like it’s degrading. My mom told me a long time ago that you’re only young once so do what I want.

CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?

Payton: I’m watching Grimm right now. True Blood was pretty good when it was on. American Dad, Simpsons, Family Guy, all those stupid cartoons.

CJ: What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?

Payton: One time I was on the balcony at a hotel and pretty soon there was a crowd gathered below us. We got kicked out. There was one time we did it in a parking lot and that was interesting because we were still on shift.

CJ: What does the future hold? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Payton: I see myself directing because I’m a perfectionist and there are tons of things I see that I would like to put my spin on it. I would definitely love to branch out.
